Alexandra Elizabeth Corazza
Dedicated to lifting up stories and voices internationally. Alexandra’s work is grounded in messaging through imagery that complements communication strategies. She is a photographer, designer and project development strategist and fundraiser. And, is a faculty member at College Unbound.
Developing visual storytelling workshops to elevate advocacy, education and programming as well as recognizing that these stories are a way to enrich connections and build meaningful relationships.
Cooking Tools : Improv. When making a home-cooked meal away from home, it can be hard to find all of the utensils you are used to. But, Farhiya has a special talent for repurposing what she finds in the kitchen.
Red : "I don't know, maybe there is more in front of me--that I'm gonna get to learn, more and more. This is not the end of the world and this is not the only place that I am gonna get to see. There are so many places.."
"Cross Cultural, Cross Generational Female Storytelling" in Tibetan Areas of China: Qinghai. Without using much language, we completed a multimedia story about their time at the winter camp, incorporating portraits that serve as a message to their future selves. A time capsule.
Refugee women in Nairobi created a promotional multimedia piece illustrating traditional crafts from home.
Strength from Within : Open hands show strength in community. It is important to remain sensitive to anonymity requests and allow people to present themselves as they wish.
